THE TRIAL
of
KAY GILDERDALE

For seventeen years Lynn Gilderdale suffered from the most severe form of Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (ME). During the last two years of her life she had expressed a wish to die. On 4th December 2008 she died.

Her mother Kay was charged by the police with Lynn's “Attempted Murder”, despite the fact that she pleaded guilty to “Assisted Suicide” in response to Lynn's considered wishes.

The trial is to be held at Lewes Crown Court, East Sussex on the 12th January 2010. It is due to last for three weeks.

If anyone attending the trial wishes to visibly show their support of Lynn and Kay,  perhaps they could wear a white carnation.
